Dr. Williams is a third generation native Pensacolian. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Florida and his dental degree from Emory University School of Dentistry. He accepted a commission into the United States Navy, where he completed a General Practice Residency at the Naval Hospital, San Diego, California. He did his postgraduate work at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he completed his periodontal training and received a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology. In 1995, Dr. Williams completed all requirements for board certification and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
He is a past president and member of the Escarosa Dental Society and recipient of the 2008-2009 Dentist of the Year award. Dr. Williams is also director of the Seattle Study Club (SSC) affiliated Greater Pensacola Study Club (GPSC) which is an organization that represents a committment to excellence in patient care and maintaining the highest level of knowledge in the field of Dentistry. The SSC network includes over 220 Study Clubs worldwide. Each club meets monthly to update members on the latest advances in technology and treatment. Doctors share new techniques and ways to better serve their patients. They also collaborate on difficult cases so that their patients are the beneficiaries of solutions from a team of knowledgeable clinicians in our community.
